Next week, our customers far and wide will receive the latest version of our Control software. With this release, customers will notice a few exciting enhancements and features. The first one we’d like to highlight is our recently announced ExpertFile integration.

ExpertFile is a unique international resource for identifying subject matter experts on some of today's most pressing topics. What this integration means for you is less time spent looking for an expert. With access to experts and sources on over 25,000 topics, you'll cut through the noise and find credible, reliable voices and content quickly and easily. In the search results, you'll find specific information about the experts listed, such as their experience, qualifications, and in some instances, video clips so you can see the personality of the expert on camera.

Best of all, it’s free to search and connect with the experts on the topics you need.

So, how do you access these expert sources? It’s easy. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to access ExpertFile through the Dejero Control management system from a web browser within the newsroom or in the field.

From the Dashboard or the drop-down Help menu, click the Find Experts button.

Once you’re on the landing page, search by keyword or select from a list of topics below.

You can filter the results by location, topic or media available in the expert profile.

Once you’ve selected an expert, a new browser window will open, taking you to the expert’s profile on ExpertFile’s website. Here you can view the expert’s profile, which outlines expertise, qualifications, publications, and media samples from the expert.

To book them for an interview on your news segment, simply click the orange Contact button. It will take you to the inquiry form landing page. Be sure to select Media Inquiry from the *Type drop down menu. Once you've filled out the form, the expert will be notified of your inquiry and will respond with their availability.
