Another year, another jam-packed and vibrant NAB Show in Las Vegas. The Dejero team headed to sunny Las Vegas to showcase its latest innovations for the broadcast, media and entertainment industry. With an estimated 65,000 people in attendance this year, NAB continues to be the largest broadcast and media show in North America.

Before we dive into what went down, it’s important to acknowledge the incredible efforts of the Dejero team and all the time they spent preparing for this show – from testing the technical trade show environment in Waterloo, to shipping the gear, to designing the booth from the ground up. Building a tradeshow booth is a joint effort from every single department. *slow clap*

Partners? Friends? They’re one in the same.

There’s just something about seeing someone in-person that can help re-ignite a connection. One of the best parts about industry shows is meeting customers and partners face-to-face after months of calls, emails and check-ins.

Our friends at KitPlus used GateWay Mode on a new EnGo 3 throughout the show to enable quick and reliable video and file transfers so they can send their videos back to their editor in London, England in real-time, allowing them to publish video content to their popular YouTube channel in minutes, not hours.

Dejero’s Director of the Americas, Michael Stanton, had the opportunity to chat with KitPlus about our latest innovations, including multi-cam functionality on the EnGo 3x and the new GateWay 3220 powered by Dell Technologies.

Our friends at BirdDog outfitted the booth with a brand new PTZ camera and controller, helping us demo low-latency video and NDI workflow.

Dejero is also a part of Sony’s Creators’ Cloud which supports creative work from shooting to production.

Giving back to up-and-coming broadcasters is in our DNA. Dejero continues to support the students enrolled in the Media Production program at the Toronto Metropolitan University. Every year, they attend NAB to learn about existing and future workflow technologies in the industry and continue to build meaningful relationships with technology providers like Dejero. Their future is brighter than those shirts… 👀

Give the people what they want

If we learned anything from this year, it’s that there’s an appetite for two things: versatility and connectivity.

Dejero solutions are proven to work in even the most challenging network settings – no matter the environment. Dejero Smart Blending Technology™ allows our customers to transmit video or data in real-time, reliably. That award-winning technology powers the EnGo mobile video transmitters and the GateWay network aggregation devices so no matter what Dejero solution is in your workflow, you can access resilient internet connectivity when you need it. Talk about versatility.

Not all connectivity innovations are made equal. Smart Blending Technology simultaneously blends multiple network connections – 5G, 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, fiber and even satellite – to ensure the strongest connection. No failover, no droppage: just a continuous connection.

A final thanks to all the vendors, team members, customers, partners, and media who helped make this show a success. 👏

Only approximately 353 days until NAB 2025. But who’s counting?
