The Dejero team took our connectivity solutions to the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip for the 2022 NAB Show, the world’s largest annual convention for broadcasters and the broader media, entertainment and technology industries. Over 50,000 from around the globe visited throughout the show's four days. Being back at NAB was something we’ve been looking forward to for months, and we wanted to share some of the best parts.

Here are three of our top highlights from this year’s show.

1. Winning a TV Technology Best of Show 2022 award

best-of-show-2022-badge-50%We were honored to have the Dejero EnGo 265 mobile transmitter win in the TV Technology Best of Show 2022 Awards at NAB. These awards recognize the outstanding products and solutions exhibited at the show, taking into account their innovation, prowess, and capabilities.

The awards have run for several years and are fiercely competitive, with hundreds of nominees throughout various categories. The EnGo 265 was selected as a winner following a rigorous judging process which evaluated value for money, feature set, ease of use and general merits of what it can offer users.

2. Seeing our customers and meeting new people—in real life!

2022 marked the first in-person NAB since 2019, and to say we were happy to be back at the show is an understatement. After two years of virtual connections and events, being in person and talking to people about our latest connectivity solutions was a treat.

“We spoke to hundreds of people during the four days of NAB,” said Rob Waters, Dejero’s global director of sales. “I can tell you the excitement to connect with partners and customers—old and new—was real. And the interest in our new products kept the team busy at our booth.”

3. Debuting our 5G solutions

Dejero unveiled the new EnGo 3 and EnGo 3x 5G-native mobile transmitters with integrated internet gateway at NAB 2022. These greatly anticipated new additions to the EnGo family combine superior 5G performance, multi-camera support, and 4K UHD resolution with unparalleled video quality for broadcast and media production markets. EnGo 3 and EnGo 3x feature a wholly redesigned RF and antenna architecture to unlock the full potential of 5G connections, unlike other solutions in the market. 3x-preview

“There’s a real interest in 5G solutions and I think Dejero, with its EnGo 3x, brings something special to the table,” shared Michael Stanton, director of sales, Americas, at Dejero. “Customers I spoke with at NAB were excited to hear it integrates 4x4 MIMO antennas and multi-path encoding technology, resulting in an ultra-reliable product that is faster and delivers lower latency.”
