It’s almost surreal to write about the end of 2023 when many of us at Dejero can clearly remember the ramp up at the beginning of the year. Not to mention our 15 year anniversary celebration in June. And yet, here we are. As we begin to wrap up the last few weeks of the year, we take a step back to acknowledge the people, the milestones and the vision that allowed Dejero to move forward and thrive.

We love our customers. We mean it. We are lucky we get to work with some incredibly dynamic and ambitious organizations from around the world. From broadcast to public safety to enterprise – we take our role as a connectivity solutions provider seriously. The great partnerships we have forged help solve unique challenges and drive innovation together.
In January, leading Spanish production company, Quality, successfully completed the live broadcast coverage of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Qualifiers in the Bahamas and the US Virgin remote islands. Relying on Dejero connectivity solutions for transmission to multiple broadcast networks that serve sports fans all around the world, the production team was able to save up to 75 percent on the set-up time and costs compared to a traditional workflow.
No need to rely solely on the venue’s limited connectivity. No complicated set up. Less cabling. And no more worrying about the logistics and costs of getting a satellite trucks to the islands,
And in November, we pushed the envelope further, announcing that our EnGo 3 and 3s are the only mobile video transmitters on the market to be certified as FirstNet™ capable. We’re incredibly proud to be able to provide the reliable ‘always on’ connectivity that first responders need in critical situations.
Our team
Not to boast, but we have THE best team in the business. I joined Dejero nearly two years ago and I can tell you the commitment, ambition, drive and intelligence of the people I work alongside is really unique. Don’t take my word for it, we have the awards to back it up.

Dejero also gives back to the community. We have a number of programs in place and actively encourage our staff to help fundraise and volunteer for charities where both resources and manpower are needed. Our annual Day of Doing Great Things at Dejero rallies the entire company to volunteer at various organizations to help with food donations, toy sorting, building animal shelters and more.

Our rental partners ensure our customers are equipped with the products and support they need for breaking news, broadcasts, production shoots, and more during the duration of those events.

Our entrepreneurial spirit
You’ve heard of the saying “Innovate or Die.” Over the past 15 years, Dejero has expanded its product offerings and solutions not just for broadcast, an industry that launched our business, but also for our public safety and enterprise customers. We reached new heights in 2023 which is testament to the work being done at Dejero to innovate, test, learn and optimize, all with our customers needs and challenges top of mind.
That entrepreneurial spirit has led to a number of milestones.
In 2023, we began developing a new product for Dell featuring our award-winning Smart Blending Technology. This new two-modem connectivity device will be compact and optimized for remote locations and/or vehicles with limited space. We can’t wait to showcase this unique offering in 2024. Stay tuned for exciting updates.
Today, we think of connectivity as a utility similar to water and electricity. You need the internet to connect your home to work, keep your family safe and for everyday uses such as paying bills or shopping for goods or services. In September, we attended the annual CEDIA Expo in Denver to showcase our solutions for smart home connectivity and we came away as the grand prize winner of the Launchpad's TechStarter program. We look forward to solving connectivity challenges in this industry and keeping people connected.
Similar to smart homes, the construction industry is challenged with a lack of connectivity at job sites. It can take anywhere from two to six months and even up to one year to have a network hardline installed at a job site. At this year’s IGI conference in Nashville, Dejero alongside our partners Graybar, Alberici and CTS, showcased a powerful solution that will help optimize workflows.
That’s not all. We continue to innovate in the broadcast and media sectors too.
A world first in Austria for the international rally racing event, Jännerrallye. Our Smart Blending Technology was used to transmit live in-vehicle camera feeds from multiple rally cars, racing through rural locations, to a national TV broadcaster. Congrats to the people who made this a huge success.
